I just had a great god damn weekend. Friday at Big Hunt/Marx Cafe and 7-11 hanging out with Diamond and Prokop, having some great conversation, great beer and great tunes. Perfect. Last night, seeing the amazing Alcian Blue play at DC 9, downing cans of Schlitz with Diamond and Rick. The show and the beer put Diamond and I in a really goofy mood. We went down to the first floor bar and fucked with people. We both pretended to be bouncers. It was a riot, the real bouncer gave me his Mag Lite flashlight to lend us some authenticity. We're laughing and telling people we had to see their id's. Getting all chatty with all kinds of folks. It was a real good time. Night ended with Diamond hugging homeless people, Yum's dumplings and me harrassing dudes walking down the street as we ate. Very atypically social night, but a lot of fucking fun.
