Just a side note, the scheduled opening act for the New Model Army show cancelled and a local DC band stepped in to pick up the slack. They are called The Opposite Sex and they f*cking owned the stage. A good mix of Joy Division, Dead Kennedy’s and believe it or not early B-52’s. Take my word for it these guys are rising stars on the DC scene, or at least they should be if I have any say in the matter.
Keep an eye peeled for any upcoming performances by them, they are not to be missed.
