Variations on a theme

Anybody remember the bad-ass "War of the Worlds" television show from 1988-1990? It was one of the first FOX shows.

They have to release a box set of this show. The episodes with the D&D tunnels, the one where Colonel Ironhorse battles the aliens in the subteranean HQ, and the one where they find an original 1952 movie alien ship in Area 51 all totally kicked ass. Oh yeah and that sick minor league hockey ice fight episode owned. Note to self: never get in a hockey fight with an alien.

This was one of my favorite Sci-Fi shows ever. Right up there with "V." If anyone has any of this show on tape or anything, I'll pay good money for them.

PS- Oh yeah, how come all you "Deadwood" mofos never told me Walter effin' Hill directed the pilot?

This finally came out on DVD and I got it. It is a very low-budget show but the ideas in it were great. You can really see where X-Files lifted from this show too.
